Excited to announce that I'm giving a cooking class in American baking here in Basque Country! I will be running through three American desserts par excellence, including, of course, the WORLD'S BEST chocolate chip cookie. I will also be exploring the more existential aspects of baked goods, such as the question: 'which came first, the bar of chocolate falling into the mixer or the cook at Toll House in running out of cocoa powder?' You know, the really important stuff.
Ah, oh, yes-lest I forget, I will be conducting the class in Spanish.
The class is this Thursday, April 14, from 7 to 9 in Eder, a kitchen store in the town of Beasain.
