Lunes Lekuak (My Monday Spot)

This little basement patio in Egia, under the train station, is an oasis of cuteness in one of San Sebasti├ín's toughest barrios.  They had cactuses before they were cool....heck, these people were cool before cool was cool.  It looks like a bar but it's not a bar. Best I can tell, it's a gathering place for old people, where wine probably costs .30 a glass and cards are shuffled for hours on end.  One of those spots, common in Egia, where time has just stood still.
